What’s New in INX SAM Suite Version 6.3.49
We’re excited to share with you the updates within this release:
Improvements
Improved workflow email template for generic requests
We have added an additional email placeholder of [Categorydescription] for a generic request. This will allow the completed email notification for a generic request document to display the category description of that request. [#60006]
Alphabetical sorting of camps in Folio Workflow for accommodation bookings
Within a Folio Workflow document, camps will now be displayed in alphabetical order when selecting a camp to split an accommodation booking. [#60218]
Audit logs for transport mode changes
We have improved visibility of the audit log for changes that occur in the Admin | Transport | Transport Mode page, now present on the Audit page. [#59535]
New icons in the Workforce Kiosk app
We have added two new icons to the Workforce Kiosk app: a helicopter and a bus icon. These will automatically display when a transport is configured in SAM as either a helicopter or bus.
Enhanced random people generation algorithm, with new report criteria for drug and alcohol test
exclusion days
We have improved the algorithm designed to produce the random people generated for client-specific reports, including the introduction of a new report criteria “/DARetestexclusiondays”. This new report criteria will allow users to provide a value that will represent the number of days after a person's last drug and alcohol test date. This value will also automatically determine the number of days that a person should not appear on the report to prevent excessive testing. [#58833]
Improved accommodation departure page for “staying on” travellers
The message displayed when attempting to reschedule a departure to “stay on” when they have a back-to-back booking in place has been improved to accurately direct the user to their next action. For a more comprehensive explanation, the message will say: Unable to process the reschedule as there are existing transport bookings on the reschedule to date, the reschedule can be done via the transport reschedule page. [#58276]
Improved robot processing for transport seat availability
We have made an operational improvement to the automation robot in Workflow to avoid overbooking transports when rules were in place to prevent this. The robot will consider seat availability prior to processing the request. [#56745, 57301]
Update to group booking names
When creating a new group booking, users are now able to use a name that was used previously but had been updated to something different. As these are no longer duplicates of current group booking names, the system will no longer display an error. [#57079]
Reporting enhancement for SRF105
To allow flexibility in the way the data is returned on Workforce Report SRF105 Breathalyser, we have added a new report criteria “/separatedeps” to show departments on separate tabs. A limit of 100 departments is in place when generating this report. Please note, if more than 100 departments are used in the report criteria data will not be separated. [#53157]
Enhancement for assigning rooms with future room ownership enabled in SAM
When SAM parameter “FutureRoomOwnershipEnabled = Y” is set, we have updated the system to now enable a user to assign a room when there is already a future room ownership in place. This can be actioned via the Assign Room page within a traveller’s profile, and while making a booking either in SAM or via a Folio workflow document. In all these cases, if the traveller already had a future room assignment, then the current room assignment will automatically have an end date prior to the future room assignment date.
Improved profile creation via the SAM Web Services API
An updated version of the SAM Web Services API is now available to ensure all profiles are created with all mandatory fields completed. The SAM system mandatory profile fields will now be validated within the API.
Fixes
UI update to highlight all overbooked passengers in SAM
For enhanced readability, the SAM UI has now been updated to ensure all overbooked passengers will be clearly highlighted orange.
Fixed password reset link issue in email notifications for Workflow users
We have made improvements to the password reset notification, which will now ensure a successful password reset is received on request by all Workflow users. [#60549, 61715]
Access Denied pop-up no longer visible for users with specific menu sets
Users will no longer receive the Access Denied message upon login when they have been allocated a specific menu set without a dashboard. [#59821]
Enhanced Go Show functionality on Accommodation Arrivals page
Users can now successfully Go Show via the Accommodation Arrivals page, without displaying a SAM error page, to make it even easier to reschedule their bookings. [#58188]
